Ecological measures for detecting emotions Devices potentially usable for detecting emotions should, especially in a learning context, not be invasive . For the purpose of an ecological and non-invasive context-aware measurement, we hypothesize to measure internal physiological signals through an electronic bracelet or a smartwatch while, external parameters, through a camera and a screen-based eye tracker. The objective of this part of the system is to identify emotional indices through measurement sensors , in order to understand which part of the interaction is most critical for that specific student.
The proposed system that allows the identification of triggers and potential triggers must be ecological , in order to limit the wedding photo editing service source of noise and multimodal, in order to provide emotional detection that is as reliable as possible. For example, if while reading the third line a subject frowns and his heartbeat slows down, it means that he has communicated a certain feeling in parallel with the task in progress. The following figure provides an example of detection of the electrical signal relating to the galvanic response of the skin during the administration of triggers introduced by the experimenter : as can be seen, the conductance peaks coincide with the administration of the trigger.

Positive affective computing and dyslexia Here, I will limit myself to describing the internal and external physiological signals that can be measured through the use of the devices indicated above. I therefore exclude the large amount of work done in the field of EEG-based affective state recognition due to the practical limitations of EEG in real-life scenarios, while recognizing its fundamental role in the history of neuroscience. Internal physiological signals Wearable emotion recognition uses changes in physiology to identify correlates of emotions . Numerous studies have been conducted in the area of emotion recognition using physiological signals. Emotion recognition based on physiological signals is applied in many areas such as road safety, health and social well-being.
